Brothers, Mark and Mike Iles, seek to continue and enhance the philosophy of service and treatment of grieving families in their community, originally developed by their father, Charles W. Iles. Mark and Mike have sought to attract and retain the best funeral directors and embalmers in the industry. The Mitchellville Funeral Home began as Carson Furniture and Undertaking at the turn of the century. New ownership in 1940 and seven years later, preceded Hamilton's purchase of the Moffitt Funeral Home in 1976. As the original location was limited to visitations only, a larger building was purchased and attractively designed in 1989 to provide ample space for the entire funeral service and receptions.
