My family and I along with friends, have missed this loving, kind, gentle soul after his 12 years of fighting cancer on February 22, 2021. Hallbritter Wickens handled all the arrangements for Jim. Mr. Meyer, Mr. Wickens and their staff were so great, that there was very little we had to do. They were kind, caring and professional. Prior to Jim’s passing, December 26, 2020 we lost my sweet sister Lynn and they were just wonderful, handling all her arrangements! They continue to be so helpful by assisting us with a private remembrance of Jim and any questions we had regarding the cost. But most of all, daily text messages regarding grief are sent to me, which I find very comforting. I am so grateful and thankful for all they have done!

Halbritters Wickens Funeral Home did a great job handling the cremation arrangements for my Dad. Jim listened to our stories and produced a very nice obituary that captured my Dad’s personality. They helped us choose additional items needed for the ceremony: the urn, funeral folders, and guest book. Everyone at Halbritters Wickens was able to answer all of our questions. They were caring and compassionate. I highly recommend their services.

I can’t say even begin to say how great Halbritter’s has been through the process of losing my mother. They were quick to get her into their care, kind and understanding with the shock my family and I were going through, and responsive with all questions. Still after 4 months, I get text messages checking in on me, and making sure I am handling everything well and just letting me know I’m not alone and providing resources for me, incase I need them. On my mothers birthday last month, they reached out as well and let me know they were honoring her life on that day and they were thinking about me. I am so incredibly happy I chose to go through this hard time with such an amazing funeral home.
