This is not a review of their memorial services, but I would like to credit them with high grades for integrity. My father died in 2019 and we had all forgotten that he made premade funeral arrangements in Boca with them in 1986. Gutterman/Warheit became aware of this in in 2023 and contacted me so that they could send us a refund of his ( never used ) prepayment, which I have now received. That's the other end of the spectrum from mall gift cards that "expire" after a year!

Christine at Gutterman made a difficult situation more bearable. Her kindness extends beyond her empathetic words, she also guided us through the practical aspects of dealing with our unexpected loss. She took time to explain everything, more than once, because it was a difficult time for us, and she made sure to let us know every time, that Gutterman's was there for us and that for any reason, we could call and she would help. When you think that people these days aren't helpful or kind anymore, call Gutterman's and speak to Christine. There isn't a better Jewish Funeral Home in Florida. Probably not even in the country. Gutterman's is lucky Christine is associated with their Funeral Home.

I called Guttermans in a panic at 3am from NY and Christine took care of everything. Had my aunt on a flight the next day. Took care of all other details at Guttermans in NY. The cosmetologist did an amazing job which was very comforting to our family. Handling my aunt’s affairs from long distance was often challenging but Guttermans made this so easy at a difficult time.

Our mom passed away just as the pandemic was beginning. Got that call at around 8PM and quickly called Gutterman's, where years earlier we had set up a pre-planned funeral. They quickly retrieved the body and we prepared to fly in from Florida. While early events trying to secure an OK from the lodge that had to approve burial in their section of the cemetery proved very stressful, the team at Gutterman's did all they could to make the funeral happen at the desired hour. Many people touched this process and their help in this time of need was much appreciated.
