I wish I would have chosen a different funeral home to handle my husband’s death. It has been almost 8 weeks and I still have not received my husband's death certificates that I need to take care of some urgent matters. They barely ever answer the business phone and the voicemail is always full. When I do speak with someone they tell me they will look into the issue and call me back but no one EVER calls me back. I spoke with Simone, the owner and was told that she checked and the they were ordered and she would check to see why they weren’t received yet and she would call me back. I never got a return call. I spoke with her again about a week later and she said she was looking at it while on the phone with me and the order was never submitted even though she said it was the week before. She then said she ordered them and expedited then and they would be delivered there on Thursday and she would call me and let me know when to come get them. I never heard from anyone on Thursday. After calling multiple times on Friday I finally got through to Simone. She then told me there was no tracking # and she would have to call them directly and call me back. I asked her to please return my call that day and she said she DEFINITELY would call me back. Again, I never got a call back. If she told me they were ordered and expedited on Tues and would be delivered Thursday then how is there no tracking #!? Now it is Monday and I have called 4 times so far and I cannot get through to anyone and the voicemail is still full. I have already been though so much with losing my husband and father of our 3 children at a young age and I do not need the additional stress of dealing with this businesses poor business practices! Also the first time I went to the funeral home to go over the plans it smelled so horrible in there. I should have had my husband sent somewhere else at that time. I DO NOT recommend using this business! It is very poorly ran! I’m hoping to hear from someone TODAY to resolve this issue. I am unable to pay our mortgage or bills until I get his death certificates.
