It's been over 4 months, still no death certificate. The ME's declared the official cause of death OVER a month ago yet their "system" still hasn't updated, because they use a 3rd party to get the certificate's. I called and inquired about 2 weeks ago to the funeral home- they said they would look into it. As of today, I haven't received a response. So, it's been 4 months attempting to keep my head above water without the life insurance money and I'm very close to loosing my home. But still, I can't do anything without that death certificate. It feels like nobody cares. The funeral home got their money and now nobody cares that I need my money.

The staff at Mt Olviet was very professional and at the same time was very compassionate. We had a preplanned funeral and they made it as easy and simple as possible, never cutting corners. I am very pleased with the care and concern shown.

Our Funeral Director was Lauren Spence. Our mother’s funeral was pre-planned so that made things easy. However, Lauren helped with things that weren’t needed in my mother’s plan and explained how other things could be used in exchange. I cannot say enough good things about Lauren, she went above and beyond things she probably didn’t have to do in order to make sure we were taken care of during this difficult time.
