Twenty years ago, almost to the month of my Dad's passing I reached out Alan Mace, at Green Acres. Even back then the help we received with crematory service and coordination with the VA Cemetery were a welcome relief to us as we grieved. My Dad's Vietnam war-era squadron is now, all this time later, trying to get my dear Dad a posthumous Purple Heart for injuries suffered during air combat. Alan went the extra mile, and found a document that will be of great use in trying to get my Dad something he should have been awarded almost 50 years ago. Understanding that there was no financial impetus for his time & the value of Green Acres record keeping, I offered to pay for his research & legwork, but he declined; that's class. I should also say that, 20 years ago, Green Acres provided the necessary documentation to bring the major portion of my Irish Father's ashes back to the family plot in Gorey, Co. Wexford, Ireland for "a proper send off" with our Clan. This was within one month of 9/11. My brother & I had no trouble with customs, as our documentation and container were found acceptable at all the airports. We are forever indebted to Green Acres for helping us make it "across the pond" without incident at a very tenuous time in history. Thank you then & thank you now Alan & Green Acres! Mike

I cant even Express how much my funeral director Tiffany helped me through this process. She is absolutely amazing!! We used her before for my mother in laws funeral (rita mayberry). And she was so helpful then that I reached out to her when my husband passed away. She was beyond helpful and feels like part of the family. Thank you for having such wonderful employees.
