We received the utmost care and attention from everyone at Gordon Funeral Residence when my husband passed away! I had never been in this position before and didn't know what needed to be done, or what was appropriate. Most of our relatives have already passed on, or live so far away, so there weren't many who would be here. And our Children are scattered all over the world. We had already decided that we weren't going to have a big funeral for either of us. The Blessed people at Gordon's helped me pick out and take care of every detail of what I needed, and wanted, for the whole day!! I was so relieved and more than grateful to them for the love and care they showed me the whole time! I really FELT the concern that they had for Me!!! I know I would not have made it through the day if it hadn't been for them. And they had Wray looking so handsome! Everything was so well done. His uniform had gotten too big for him since he had retired from the National Guards, but they fitted it to him just right, and he looked perfect! The Medals and Ribbons were on his breast in the right place, and he looked like he could stand up and salute at any second! It was perfect! I know that That helped me, too. It's like they knew that it would make me feel better, seeing my "Soldier Boy" all dressed up right and proper! And it did. I was always proud of him. And, I am so grateful to Gordon's for helping me to stay proud of him by doing their best with him after his passing. I loved the man he was. He loved his God, his Family, his Country and his Uniform. Gordon's helped to portray that in how they presented him that day. Thank you to all of you at Gorden's. I want to thank everyone at Gorden Funeral in Allegan. You have all been such a great help for me with dealing with the passing of my parents. You helped us with our dad for years ago and recently our mom. Thank you for all the help and understanding.
