I wish that I could have put 0 stars because that is exactly what they deserve. I am greatly disturbed with the treatment that my family had received since stepping foot inside the funeral home all the way from New York City this past weekend. My grandmother requested that her brother's casket be fully opened. To hear Ms. Owen's say that my uncle is deteriorating and that the bottom half of his casket can not be opened due to his decomposition was mind blowing. The cops were called on my aunt by Ms. Owens. The officer escorted her off of the property all because she wrote a review on Facebook in regards to the treatment being received. Also a podium was requested to place the book for family and friends to sign in on. That was denied. The owner was contacted. Ms. Veronica took it upon herself to come out to the parking lot in a very nasty tone stating " Who Asked For Something To Write On? Where Do You want it at? My Aunt stated " You can Put It Over There! Ms. Veronica responded by stating "No You Go Put It Over There! She then proceeded to walk back inside of the funeral home. I walked over to where she left the podium and it was filthy and disgusting. The owner was contacted again. He arrived and tried his best to situate things but it was already a disaster. He promised that these two ladies would no longer be involved and would not be at the graveside funeral that was being held the next day. He lied. They were there the next day just as if nothing happened. My family was very distraught and does not recommend this funeral home for anyone to have their families home going service if these two ladies are still employed there.
