" PLEASE SEE ALL ATTACHED. FOTOS BEFORE READING," I am sharing this because I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through what my family and I endured. This funeral home is the worst of the worst. On top of the pain of losing my little sister, we had to experience the worst with this funeral home. The structure was very dirty, the roof above the entry door was falling, the carpet was dirty and stained, and sitting benches inside were filthy, " not vacuumed." Both bathrooms were out of order. We were on them for 7 days, asking to please have at least one bathroom fixed before the viewing, and we were ignored. As you can see in the pictures, they provided a port a potty for my sister's viewing. My sister was in a rented casket that was filthy, had huge yellow stains, mildew, and rust stains, and the outside of the casket was dirty. The day before the viewing, when I went to touch up my sister's makeup, I asked if they could please change the casket or the linen, and I was told by the director no via phone. He suggested I spray the casket linen with bleach " while my sister was lying in it." I had to run to Walmart and purchase satin pillow cases, cut them, and cover up all the dirty linen. The pillow underneath my sister's head had black mildew spots very noticeable. I had to lift my sister's head and put a new clean pillow case on the pillow. Her clothes were all in a bunch, not presentable at all, and I also had to fix it myself. I had to go and also purchase cleaning spray to clean the outside of the casket. The two employees that were there did not seem to care about anything that was going on. They did not try to help or fix anything. All the flower arrangements delivered by the florist were put down on the floor and left there. I was there for 4 hours trying to at least make the casket look presentable. The following day : day of the viewing, " I arrived at 7:45 am, and all flower arrangements were still on the floor bunch up in one corner, they did not have anything ready for the family and friends that were scheduled to arrive at 10:00 am. I had to call other family members to come help set up for the viewing. The 2 employees, " female and male," were so unprofessional, the 3 days I had to go to the funeral home, the female was wearing spandex with a t-shirt, and the male had shorts with a tshirt. The day of the viewing, they did not greet the guest, didn't help with the setup, and during the viewing, they were in the office eating with the door open visible to all guest. My little sister passed away unexpectedly, and it's the hardest thing my family and I have had to accept, and they didn't make it any easier. It was our last moments with our loved one, and we had to see her in those conditions. No one should have to go through this. They are inconserate, unprofessional, cold-hearted, nasty, and dirty. Sad to say, but true. Please don't allow your loved one to be viewed for the last time in this place.

After losing my dad and not having experience arranging a funeral, everyone at Gendron went to great lengths to help us have a nice funeral to honor my dad. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had the unfortunate experience of using Gendron Funeral for the funeral of my husband in May. There was several things that I was not happy with. There were no flowers, no remembrance pictures. I had to pay for a police escort even though they were supposed to give me 2 police escorts under my plan. I ended up paying for them out of pocket. The limo did not have any AC. We almost passed out so we ended up using our own vehicles to get to the funerals. The limo was old and dirty. The cards I was given were black and white instead of colored. I had to pay an additional 500 for the escort for the viewing when it was supposed to be included. I would not recommend it if you want to give your family a proper goodbye.
