My family lost our 17 year old cousin Hugo to NF1 and cancer, which was a terrible tragedy. Geitner-Givnish Funeral Home took care of my family like we were a part of their family. Trish our funeral director was wonderful! She answered every question we had while we were making the arrangements and answered texts or phone calls quickly for any questions or concerns we had forgotten to ask in person. We were so distraught in our loss that we made mistakes in documents but Trish was quick to help us correct them. She talked to my family to make sure the service was exactly the way we wanted it, which it was. Trish has such a big heart and truly cares about families whom have just lost a loved one. I would happily recommend Geitner-Givnish Funeral Home to other friends and family members when the need arises. No one looks forward to planning a funeral but Trish made it a bearable experience-Thank you for your compassion and kindness at such a difficult time!

John Mach and the rest of the staff were so accommodating when planning my Dad’s funeral. His attention to detail was exceptional. He’s very kind, empathetic and hospitable. It was very hard to see my mother go but the good people of Geitner Givnish at 5th and Godfrey we're so loving and kind, they made the experience tolerable. I was allowed a live band and light fare. They also let me decorate the night before. They were very accommodating and kind. Special thanks to Mrs. Joanie!!
