Garner funeral home was so helpful in the planning of my father's memorial. They helped with all of our requests and we could not be happier with the outcome of the service, even on such a sad occasion. I would recommend them.

Our experience was awful with this funeral home. The deceased appeared not be embalmed properly as she was wrapped in much plastic as she was “leaking” Two songs were to be played at her funeral. 1st was correct 2nd was so embarrassing we all wanted to melt into the floor No make up applied by Garner / no hair stylist on staff My 16 yr old granddaughter helped with regular otc make up. I did her hair Arrived at the cemetery- wrong gravesite. This was blamed on the City of Kinston but the rented $500 tent over the hole dug said CARTER. Our family has used this funeral home for over 20 yrs but not again

I cannot thank Bill Taylor and the staff at Garner Funeral Home enough. From the initial meeting with Bill, days before my mother's death to making the final arrangements this past week, I knew I had made the right choice of Garner's for Mama's funeral. Bill guided me through the process making it as easy as possible during such a difficult time. Bill and the staff have been very responsive to every request. I had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman that embalms and prepares your loved one. He treats each as if it was his own family member. I was so impressed with the respect and care he gives to the person. Mama was in very capable and professional hands She looked beautiful! Thank you Bill and staff for all you have done for me and my Mother, Mary Harper Boone. I will forever be grateful.
