They were very helpful and no high pressure when we were making arrangements. However, after they had received their money they were very hard to communicate with. They promised us several call. When the remains (cremated) were received at the funeral home they were supposed to call - They never did. We finally called and they said they had received them several days before. They promised a call when they determined which day the urn would be buried. They never called. We called again to get additional information and we are still waiting for a return call. We are now 5 weeks from the time of death and they have never returned a call.

This review has 2 parts to equal the 5 star review. The first part serves as a buyer beware as the management says this happens all the time. For 30+years my mother would brag at the fact that every part of her final arrangements had been planned and paid for. so imagine my surprise when the management gave me the bad news when I met with them after her passing. The opening and closing expense was $550.00 when she "prepaid" for it around 1992. now in 2024 it is more than 1800.00 additional. I called them a few years ago when she relocated to Richmond VA and was told "the only thing you would be responsible for would be the cost to ship her remains back to Tampa". I their defense after a spirited debate they discounted that cost to the $550.00. That is where the discount ended. There were no flowers prepaid, no fault of theirs. I had to pay for that. They told me the casket she prepaid was now too small. That was an additional 1800.00. I had to pay for the difference at nearly 3000.00. I'm not complaining at the amount but the fact that she thought she had it all paid for. If you prepay for final expenses PLEASE.... ask these questions. If you provide these services, consider an annual charge to compensate for these expenses rather than SURPRISE!!! You owe more money. That part is done. The services were very well done. I had no problem with her appearance, the schedule or anything. They did a great job. If you use them just ask questions and get everything explained. I was lucky to have the ability to take care of these unexpected expenses. What happens if your surviving family does not?

They had always wanted to be put to rest together, and every detail was perfect. We could not have asked for a more professional and compassionate person to assist us. The entire service was perfect and intimate, just like we envisioned.
