There are absolutely no words to convey the sincerity and the compassion I received from Garcia Mortuary. Lorena handled everything, and she patiently helped me through the process of cremation. My beloved brother passed away in California , and I live in Dallas. With that said, she handled my brother’s cremation in such a respectful way that I was not needed to be there, and she personally went to post office to make sure my brother’s remain was handled safely and respectfully. Location: For being a family owned, long time business in the community they are in much need of a remodel. The carpet is dirty, lumpy and in need of immediate replacement. A cleaning will do nothing for it because its so thin, worn and old. The chandeliers have bulbs that are out or different colors. The popcorn ceiling looks dusty. At the entrance they also have old event posters, like pre-Covid event posters. All these small things just distracts of the true potential Garcia's Mortuary has. Service: As we all began to walk in for the service an employee began yelling "Only water in the chapel, no food or other drinks". This could have been done quietly or they could have been observant and only mention it to those that had food in their hand. Felt like a teacher yelling at students in a fieldtrip.

I never thought I would be writing a review for a funeral home. However, I lost my uncle very sudden. I then contacted Garcia’s Mortuary and had the pleasure to speak with Lorena, she took the time to explain every little detail over the phone. She handled everything for me and my family. She and the staff were very attentive, loving and caring. Lorena went as far as giving me her personal cell number and advised me to call anytime even after hours, something not many people do. Also, Reyna was very friendly too and yet provided me next day with extra prayer cards as the ones prior ran out. Thank you for your kind gesture and for getting those done next day. A true plus! The Garcia Mortuary team did such a beautiful job at the service and blended in with the rest of the family and friends and gave us the extra time to spend with my uncle. Although, goodbyes are hard, they made a seamless transition. I am forever thankful for your service and the beautiful team you have behind you. Thank you so much!
