The DeBor family has been providing personal value oriented funeral service to the South Hills of Pittsburgh for over 60 years. Now operated by the second generation, we have been independently family-owned and operated since our beginning. Community service and sponsorship has been our hallmark, and we are especially proud to be the only original uninterrupted sponsor of Little League Baseball. This distinction was recognized in 2006 when we received the first and only 50-year award. We are especially proud of our sponsorship of the Frank F. DeBor Memorial Student Athlete Award at Bishop John Bosco Catholic Grade School. This cash award provides significant tuition assistance to a boy and girl who exemplifies academic excellence and athleticism and who is attending Catholic secondary education. Each service we conduct includes a Memorial DVD and Memory Candle at no cost, and each family is enrolled in our Memorial Rose Program and Christmas Luminaria Display. A long family "friend", F.D DeBor preyed on my mother's estate, who was slipping into Alzheimers by switching the first 8 pages of her financial documents with another completely different set while retaining the real signature page he filed with the clerk of courts. Several family members witnessed the signing of the original documents. I now regret not filing the case with the Bar Association.
