My views are a little biased as I am the founders great granddaughter and cousin of the owner and proprietor at Folk Funeral Home. My mother is Patricia Folk Carter. But, we have chosen to use Folk Funeral Home for our family no matter how far away we moved in our lives, not because we are family, but because they are the best. They have all the charm and special stuff that a small town funeral parlor would have with a lot of love mixed in and Ms Tisha to sing if you ask her just like her mother before her. But, in addition to the small town charm , it also has all the things that a large chain Funeral Home would have. If you need it they can get it. It’s a great place, so if you are ever in Williston, S.C. stop by and visit. The friendly staff will be happy to show you around, but if there is a service or 2 going on. This is a family-run business that treats its clientele like family. I have only had to deal with two funeral homes, one in Colombia and Folk in Williston. While the one in Columbia did their job well, they can't compare to the care and service I received from Folk Funeral Home. I have even known them to go in, at their own expense, and clean up a small Cemetery before a service. They are not pushy, like they're trying to sell you anything. They're very compassionate and will go out of their way to see that you have things done the way you want them. They are, of course, a business, but seem consider it more of a service to the community.

My father suddenly passed away in February and Folk Funeral Home helped us every step of the way. They were patient and caring through my families grieving process. They were extremely professional and they did most of the work while myself and my family were still processing the tragedy.
