I attended a very positive funeral in regards to the children and what they were saying about their mother who just passed away. I know they are more brave than I would be at their age.

As her Chiropractor, I got to know Linda quite well. She was a very loving and caring person. I still remember the time she showed up at one of my patient appreciation day parties dressed as a horse with her spouse, Gary, bringing up the rear ( the two of them were in the costume together). She left a wonderful family far too soon. She will be greatly missed.

My daughter's husband passed, and THIS funeral home gave the cards that were put in box-(mind you that had money in for her and her daughter), they gave to the mother instead of next of kin!!?? When I called to tell them what they did was illegal, they then said --well your daughter has life insurance doesn't she. What does that have to do with them giving cards - to NOT next of kin.!!?? So I contacted an attorney and they said we had a case, but my daughter had to do it, -she was in know state to do this at that time, she wishes she had now...!!! There is more to the story, but just wanted to give everyone the heads-up to watch out for things like this and to know it's against the law to do this.
