My husband passed in January due to Covid. It was a very difficult time, trying to figure out what I needed to do to take care of everything that needed to be done. When I called Fairhaven, I was greeted by Leslie Greer. I knew right then, that she was the person I needed to work with. Leslie was so kind and understanding about everything that needed to be done. She explained all of my options and always with so much compassion. I waited until October to do the service, but Leslie was so patient. I was trying to wait until most of our friends had been vaccinated before I held a service. Leslie made suggestions and showed me samples of the options for the service (displaying Joe’s special interests, chapel and reception set ups, catering, etc.). When the day of the service arrived, everything was absolutely beautiful! The service and reception were exactly what I had wanted. I can’t thank Fairhaven, and especially Leslie, enough, for being there at such a painful time in my life. It was comforting knowing that even though it wasn’t part of her job, Leslie let me know she had been praying for me throughout her time with me. I know if you’re reading this, you have some very difficult days ahead of you. I also know that the staff at Fairhaven, and Leslie, in particular, will help you to get through some of your needs at this difficult time. May God bless you and comfort you.

There are no words to express my thanks to Sarah and the team for the love shown from start to finish surrounding my husband’s passing. From my first phone call, to the guidance that followed throughout arrangements needing to be made, Fairhaven was love in action. My husband’s end of life experience took a huge toll on his appearance, and frankly speaking I was afraid for my myself and my kids to view their dad for the last time. I’m still in awe as to how peaceful and handsome he looked. Thank you to all who loved so extravagantly.

My parents had arranged with Fairhaven before they passed. Fairhaven takes care of all the details, and they call you if they need any further direction from the family. Sarah Eacott was very personable and caring. Great job, Fairhaven!
