My father passed away in May. My mother and I have been distraught since then. In the middle of this sad, sad time we met Ava, the Funeral Director at Everly Funeral Home in Falls Church, VA. Already when I first spoke with her on the phone, I recognized that she was a different Funeral Director from the two others I had already called. She was immediately very clear, open, straightforward, detail-oriented, thinking ahead and foreseeing all potential issues and questions, while also being deeply kind and compassionate. I knew at that moment on the phone that we were in good hands with Ava and we chose Everly. Ava is clearly a wonderful human being, who is also very professional, competent and reliable in every way. I rarely meet people like her. We are extremely grateful to her and Everly for helping people like us during such difficult moments.

Everly Community Funeral Care was recommended to us by our priest upon our grandmother's passing, and it turned out to be the best suggestion we could have imagined. Angel and her team assisted us with every detail. They coordinated every element so smoothly and made sure our grandmother looked beautiful - she would have been proud of her service, memorial and burial. The Everly team helped with items we weren't expecting, such as the Washington Post obituary and finding the family plot in Virginia.
