I went to a memorial service at the Wilmington location on Saturday 6/22/24 during the heat wave. The air conditioning was not working and it was unbearably hot in there. I would think that the staff would have made accommodations for us such as to bring in electric fans once they knew the air wasn't working. We were given paper fans to fan ourselves instead. The other thing people should know is that there is no parking lot, only on street parking. Something to consider should you be in need of funeral services.

I wish to express my deepest gratitude for the beautiful service and professional handling of my father’s funeral. Your level of expertise and genuine compassion made us feel valued and allayed the anxieties associated with burial arrangements. The funeral staff was pleasant and attentive, and comported themselves with dignity appropriate to my father’s distinction. I would like to give special acknowledgement to Raheem Watson for his patience in addressing my concerns, answering countless questions, and his unwavering compassion while discussing matters of business. He understands how the pain of losing a loved one affects every individual differently. Thereby, I must commend him and the funeral staff for judiciously seeking resolution even after the burial. Such dedication for excellence speaks for itself. In conclusion, we were satisfied with everything you provided. Your staff, the facility, and the courtesy extended to us was absolutely exemplary. Evan W Smith Funeral Service is the most professional, caring, loving and family oriented experience my family and I have ever been apart of. Each representative made you feel comfortable. Everyone was extremely patient and kept the situation their priority. We are thankful to have used EWS and greatly appreciate everything done for our Son.
