This establishment was recommended by the staff at Mt. Airy COGIC. My beloved sister, Barbara was handled with care and looked beautiful. However, the behavior of the funeral directors, at the service, was disappointing and quite frankly disrespectful! To tell my nephews, as her casket was being wheeled out the sanctuary, their mother wouldn’t be taken to the cemetery until paperwork was completed is disgusting, especially, in light of the fact we were at EWB the night before to finish paperwork. A phone call that a document, they clearly didn’t present on Thursday night needed to be signed would’ve sufficed. To top it off we get to the cemetery and they tell my niece/family “you’re dismissed” after the interment in a rude and disrespectful manner was uncalled for. I understand businesses needs to be finished/handled. But that was NOT the time or place! No tact, no empathy, no compassion! Just on to the next one…we got your money!!
