Patricia Gumbs-Oscar, the funeral director, was with me every step of the way, providing guidance and compassion. The limousine driver, Belony, was punctual, patient, and ensured our comfort throughout the journey. Bernard, who assisted with the funeral, was also outstanding in his duties. A lovely touch was Trina singing at the conclusion of the service and during the burial of my sweet dear mother. My family’s experience at Elijah Bell’s was incredible and filled with so many gracious accommodations. No one wants to bury a loved one, so when that time comes being in the hands of consummate professionals like the team at Bell’s is a comfort that makes this difficult process more bearable. Thank you to the supervisor Patricia who coordinated all the planning, she handled every aspect with tremendous care and loving consideration for our whole family. She also added wonderful touches at the burial, having a live saxophone player and spoke moving words that made the ceremony feel complete. I was very impressed by the outpouring of support from all the Bell’s personnel that were in attendance at the memorial. The driver that picked us up covered us in prayer before we made our way to the service, at the service another staff member prayed with our family before the end of the viewing and throughout the day we felt held by the Lord through the loving attention given by the entire team that was present for the proceedings. Words are not enough to Thank each and everyone involved in giving my loved one a beautiful home going. My deepest gratitude to Jessica who was infinitely patient with us in creating an unforgettable program to commemorate the legacy of my family. I’m in no rush to go through the heartbreaking experience of saying goodbye to a loved one any time soon, but if I have to Elijah Bell’s Funeral Home is the only place I’d choose to do so. Had my grandmothers funeral service this evening with Elijah Bell’s funeral services and I must say they do a fantastic job. Punctual, cordial and professional are the words I would use to describe this company. 10/1/0 would use them again and I’m so happy they were apart of and lead our funeral arrangements.
