We will start with I am not the family, I was the caregiver, so my review, is from what I witnessed going on, it started the very morning when we called to have my friend's mother picked up. The nurse has the funeral home on speaker, he proceeds to say don't tell the family, but we are extremely busy, we have 4 funerals this morning, they need to get in and out. But not sure how long it will take them to get there, but the gal needs to be back by 8am, they show up, granted everyone is new at a job, but in that case you send a 3rd person until the new person is trained. Then we move forward to, no one sat with the family to go over pricing and afterlife needs. They do not inform you, it's 400.00 dollars ea way to the church and back, really 400. Should really cover both. I guess in the wrst coast we don't try to rob the dead. On the 16th, they demanded cash payment in full. Really, we honestly thought we could use credit cards. In the west coast dressing the body is included, as it is a common courtesy. They charged for services not rendered, because they lump some charges together. After being given an estimate of 5,000, the family was blindsided with 9,000 then being harassed for cash payment in full, less than 24 hours later. They never once gave their condolences to the family, just demand a cash payment. I purchased a nice outfit for burial, didn't realize they wanted an extra 100.00 just to put it on. I didn't even pay 100 for it. Please look around before for choosing. This facility was reccomend by many, because people felt the family would get the special care they needed to get through this time. Our bad for assuming that including holding the families hand and walking them through the process. The family hasn't been able to properly grieve because we didn't get the hand holding walking through the process. It's not like any of us do this often. Its not like we know what we are doing. For 9,000 dollars. You expect a little hand holding and guidance. Which you will not find here.
