The staff of Eastern Gate are so extremely considerate, compassionate and helpful. They made a very stressful time as hassle free as possible. And they are genuinely concerned about the well being of the families they serve. That sincerity is rare and very much appreciated. I can’t thank them enough for the care they showed with my mother’s arrangements and the regard they showed me personally

All communication with this company has been sub-par at best since the very beginning. No one should have to deal with this ridiculousness after losing a loved one, but here we are. And after everything I went through, the only communication I have received since our Mother's burial was a super tacky text message asking for a review, so here is your review. To begin with, I was told all communication had to be done in person, even though we live in a different state. I drove in, and was treated as though I was a child. As I am trying to grieve the passing of my Mother, I am also dealing with her burial so my Father didn't have to. I was made to drive back into town to sign the paperwork for the funeral because I was told that was the only way, but as I go to sign, I see on the giant screen in front of me the option for digital signature. Before any of this even began, I had someone tell my Brother that he could sign the paperwork, which was also a lie. Then someone tried talking him into having the funeral at Eastern Gate instead of where we had it planned. Eastern gate is out of date and small and wouldn't hold all the people we knew would show up, but I had already explained this to the workers there. Now, it is a month after my Mother's burial and she is still without a headstone. I was told it would take a total of 6-8 weeks, which is normal, but it is a month gone and I haven't heard from anyone about the design. I called today and was told I could set up a time to come in and design it. Even though when I signed all the paperwork in house, I was told I would be sent an email and everything would be done online for our convince. I hope you are happy with your review that you wanted so badly, but I would never recommend anyone be buried here just for the lack of competence in the entire staff.
