I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care and compassion shown by Jennifer Kerstner and the entire team at Earthman Bellaire Funeral Home. If I could give her more than five stars, I would—she truly deserves the highest praise. From the moment I made that heartbreaking call about the loss of my beloved aunt, Jennifer went above and beyond. She drove back to the funeral home late that same evening to meet me, showing her unwavering dedication. Jennifer made the entire process seamless, staying in constant contact with me from the initial service arrangements to the cremation and finally, the pickup of my aunt’s ashes. Her compassion and commitment during one of the hardest times in my life is something I will never forget. When I arrived to pick up the ashes, everything was so beautifully presented, which provided me with an unexpected sense of peace and closure. I also want to acknowledge Tim, who did a remarkable job with my aunt’s makeup. Despite her wish not to be embalmed, she looked so peaceful, like she was simply resting. The entire experience, though incredibly difficult, was made more bearable thanks to Jennifer and the team’s attention to detail and genuine care.

The entire team at Earthman Bellaire was amazing to work with when making end of life arrangements for my father. They made what seemed like a scary/overwhelming process as simple as possible. Brad helped me navigate a lot of the pre-planning for the funeral. Making a lot of the decisions upfront really helped to remove unwanted additional stress for once my father passed. He was incredibly kind and patient with my many questions and really worked to ensure that I was happy with the decisions made. He also proactively offered to help us find the right cemetery. He asked about our priorities and helped to narrow down options based on our needs so that we didn't waste time with cemeteries that we ultimately wouldn't want. He even coordinated cemetery visits and made the process very efficient. Once my dad passed away, the entire process was seamlessly executed. The Funeral Director Jennifer took wonderful care of my father and my family. She was compassionate and put us at ease during what was an already difficult time. The funeral service was beautifully put together and she just seemed have a knack for anticipating needs and taking care of everything so that we could focus on grieving our loss. Everyone was absolutely wonderful and I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to help me through this difficult time.

My son Garrett “Thievin” passed away in March 2024. As a mom in shock, I had no idea where to start. I just started by looking online at the Google reviews. I knew my son was taken to and passed at a hospital in Houston, Texas. His dad and I were located in North Texas. I began by searching for funeral homes near the hospital and found Earthman based on their Google reviews. They were amazing! I picked up the phone and thankfully got Jennifer who couldn’t have been kinder to me. I felt so lost, and it felt like she reached through the phone to grab my hand and essentially say, “I’ve got this…” I was so relieved that I started to cry. Both due to the loss of my son and because this kind woman was so willing to help me. During times when I couldn’t make a decision or it seemed too hard, she was able to do some mock up samples. It was so helpful. As a parent, life doesn’t prepare you to lose your child. I never thought I’d have to make decisions regarding urns or what to engrave on them. Jennifer once again, took my hand and through the phone made me feel like she was saying “I got this…” I felt like during this awful process, Jennifer was my touchstone. I felt bonded to her. She shared with me that she is a mom, so I felt like she could possibly identify with me as a mom, and therefore would have that level of compassion. While I hope to not ever have to bury another child, off I ever had a need to use Earthman or any of their other facilities (nationwide, if they are nationwide), I’ll be using this company. Jennifer was so kind, seemed sincere, and patient. She is truly a keeper for this company, and I am grateful that I had (under the awful circumstances) to connect and work with Jennifer. I actually need to reach out to her so that she can put me in touch with a location in Colorado as we’d like to get little tattoos using our son’s ashes. Thank you Jennifer.
