We had used the services of Douglass, Edgerley & Bessom when our father passed away 23 years ago. We all remembered having been so were so well cared-for, that we engaged their services again, when our mom passed this year. The Douglass team was wonderful, taking care of everything we needed and pointing us in the direction of some excellent floral and restaurant vendors, given that we were all out-of-state. January 2021 - Planning a funeral during a pandemic is a challenge. My Father passed and our family wasn't sure what type of service we could have with all the restrictions in place. Fortunately, we reached out to Mr. Douglass once again for his services. Mr. Douglass knew all the covid regulations, he made the process easy and straightforward which was key in helping us make the decision to have a small private service to keep everyone safe. Mr. Douglass was very helpful with every request and concern we had. Dealing with the death of a loved one is difficult especially with all the decisions that need to be made. Mr. Douglass made everything easier and my family is very grateful to him for his professionalism, compassion and assistance during these very difficult times. March, 2019 - Upon my Mothers passing my family reached out to Mr. Douglass for his services. He was very compassionate which gave my family great comfort during this difficult time. John and Company were wonderful after the death of my Father. They took care of everything and made sure Mom was always okay. Great organization and would highly recommend.
