John Lynch and his staff at Donohue Funeral Home in West Chester took control of a sad situation and helped to make it memorable and even celebratory. Everything was handled for us leaving out not one little detail! We are so appreciative of the professionalism. The compassion and the empathy that was shown was most comforting. Thank you.

To say that Bob Ash went over and above and out of his way for us, is an understatement. We met Bob when we decided to pre-plan our funeral and he was professional, answered all concerns and we feel good about the decision. While we were there we inquired about having our son exhumed and cremated. Our son was 5 months old when he passed almost 42 years ago. Bob's answer was "if it can be done, I will make sure to get it done for you". It turned out to be a bit more complicated and arduous than any of us could have imagined. Bob stayed with it and kept us informed throughout the entire process. Yesterday my husband and I brought our son's remains home with us. Everyone we encountered at Donohue was kind and considerate. Bob Ash stood out because he treated us like family and worked through every roadblock encountered to make this happen for us. We will be eternally grateful to him. Bob is just one example of the caliber of people who will work for you at Donohue Funeral Home. I do not hesitate to recommend Donohue and gladly give them a five star review. All we can say is we doubt there is a better funeral home anywhere. From our first contact to the follow ups after the service we were always met with understanding and compassion. Marci Guillemette in the office, John Lynch who handle all of the details and Jim Huf and his staff the day of the funeral could not have been nicer or more professional and thoughtful. I would give them 10 stars if possible
