Thank you to the entire Dekalb Funeral Services Staff for a job well done. You handled my father and family with tender care. You guided my family with grace and dignity during this difficult time. Sonia I would like to thank you for your help, support and compassion. My father was a shell of a man due to the cancer that ravaged his body. I was going to have a closed casket because of it. I walked in, viewed his body and wanted to do cartwheels right then and there. He looked absolutely fantastic. There wasn't an abundance of make up, his face and body was filled in, and he looked as if he was taking a nap. They did phenomenal work and we are eternally grateful.

If you need Funeral Services DON'T GO TO DEKALB. I guess that's what the Hood is used to.Then they used a sheet curtain to hide the poor make up job on Hands & Face 2 different colors.I don't know who that was. Also the Cemetery didn't let us use the Bathroom. They should've notified the Funeral Parlor which should've notified us ahead of time.We had to use the Bathroom at WaWa on the way back to Brooklyn

On April 23, 2020, I called Dekalb Funeral Services to ask a question about cremations. I don't know who I spoke to, but from the last comment before mine, Sonia seems to be the candidate. As I was talking to the woman it seemed as if I had lost the call so I called back to ask if that was the case. I'm not sure why this person thought she does not have to be professional, but instead of being polite, I was hung up on twice and on the third attempt, I started to raise my voice until another woman got onto the phone to answer my question. Really? That is what the workers at the Dekalb Funeral Services are doing? They have no consideration for family members that lost their love ones. Very, very rude and very unprofessional. That's a Shame!
