Mike is the real deal. When he was helping my parents plan my aunt's funeral, he was very honest and direct. He didn't try any salesman tricks, and even told them that the less expensive item was as good as the other. He was very accomodaing of minimizing my parents' potential exposure to COVID. The quality of services was remarkable. The kindness and courtesy he extended to my parents was very touching.

I will forever be grateful for Michael and Tara Hale and the rest of the Dekalb Funeral Chapel family. They made one of the most difficult times of my life, stress free. They took such good care of my mother, with such dignity. Treated my whole family with such kindness.
