Jennifer expertly guided us through the process and made sure every single detail was taken care of despite a very short window to make the arrangements (3 days). Peggy made sure that everything was seamless and ran smoothly the day of the funeral. Both of them were exceptionally professional, kind, and compassionate throughout. We credit Davenport for making an extremely overwhelming process as easy as it could be under the circumstances. Even though we only had a few days to make all of the arrangements, the funeral was perfect in every way thanks to Jennifer, Peggy, and the entire Davenport team. We truly felt taken care of from the minute we first contacted Davenport until the end of the funeral service. They coordinated everything with the church and the cemetery and gently guided us and our guests where to go and when the day of the funeral so we did not have to worry about a thing. The Davenport team then arranged to deliver the flowers to our home the next day, drove to our house in a snowstorm, and even shoveled our steps! This is just one example of the many times that we noticed the Davenport team going above and beyond.
