I recently went to the funeral of a dear friend who passed unexpectedly. The people working here showed an incredible lack of empathy and were unkind both to the family of the deceased and the visitors. My friend who died had countless friends, so the funeral home was packed. The people working the door kept yelling at people to move and get away from the door and keep moving. No one was complaining or unsafe. There was also no other funerals or viewings taking place on the premises. They then told the widow of my friend to keep the line moving, cutting off her conversations and people giving condolences. Finally, at the actual funeral service, they hurried everything along and kept yelling at people to leave. During the final goodbye they kept telling people not to stop and to keep moving. It was a very disappointing experience that was terribly disrespectful to the legacy of an incredible man.

Our mom passed away on January 4th 2023. Her funeral was pre planned which was a relief once she passed! Completing final details prior to and during visitation and the funeral service were handled in a professional, kind and caring manner by Bob and Shannon Barrett at Darrochs. They provide empathy during this time and handle every last detail with ease. Our Mom looked beautiful and flowers were displayed nicely. Having such a nice big parking lot creates convenience for the family and visitors. Street parking is not needed thank goodness. Thanking Bob and Shannon for their compassion at this time. I highly recommend using them for their funeral service❤️ ”
