I recently had the difficult experience of arranging a funeral for my beautiful mother, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the support we received from Westville (Cremation Society of SC). From the moment we walked in, Joann Marotta made an incredibly difficult time feel a little less overwhelming. She was compassionate and understanding. She helped to guide us through each step with patience and clarity. We were unsure about many aspects of the process, but Joann took the time to explain our options and listened carefully to our needs and wishes. She provided us with thoughtful recommendations without pushing us in any direction, allowing us to make decisions that felt right for our family. The attention to detail and respect shown to my Mama and my family was deeply appreciated. I truly believe that Joann and the other staff members genuinely care about the families they serve. Awesome staff, made my family feel comfortable and were very professional as well a courteous. They were patient and answered all our questions. I highly recommend letting them care for your loved one because they take their care of business.

My mother passed very young, and this place was sent directly from God to our family. Joann, Madison, and all the staff involved were so genuinely kind and accommodating. Madison helped make sure everything went beautifully, and helped us leave feeling as though my mother was truly honored in the way she deserved. Joann is an actual guardian angel. She even went as far as to see my dad after everything was finished to help him better understand the legal paperwork involved. I could not feel more thankful to have met these kind souls in a world that can be cruel. I wish we never had to do this, but I’m so thankful people like this exist for when it does.
