My very dear friend George passed at the age of 94 years old. He was very proud to be a Vet, always telling stories and stated multiple times that when he passed, he wished to be honored and recognized for his services to his country. BC Bailey Funeral Home was amazing. They took a very sad moment and made it such a memorable, honorable moment George would have been proud of. Right from entering the Funeral home, Andrea was amazing- introducing us to herself and the staff- whom were all lovely- she graciously led us through every step ever so gently. The blanket made in his honor was a sweet surprise and spot on, the comfort of the calling hour, the video presentation that Andrea made for us-which I must admit she impressed me how she put it all together nicely with all the images and videos I gave to her. They also made George look very handsome and presentable, again honoring him with the American Flag at his side. Transportation for him had to be one of the most impressive parts of the service. My adult children and husband could not stop speaking of it. He was transported by motorcycle and a clear hurst to the church and burial site. Upon arrival, the Priest, Military and Retired Vets were there waiting on us. There are not enough words of appreciation I can give.
