HORRIBLE HORRIBLE just HORRIBLE!!!!!! Don’t EVER waste your time going here. This women is VERY unprofessional, no compassion for you losing a loved one. Just making up prices, couldn’t tell me where they took my father, ARGUING with me about her services. I TOOK MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE…..trust me these other reviews were on point and I wish i listened to them. I’m glad i went with my gut and called another funeral home. Also reporting to the BBB, I wish i could give no stars.

This place is horrible! I don’t understand where these positive reviews are coming from. Unless it’s the staff members putting up fake reviews. First complaint! Due to the pandemic. The funeral home gave us a website called Zoom to view the service from home. Myself and 17 others were online anticipating the service. When we connected to the website, it wouldn’t connect or give us a picture of the service. There was no communication from the funeral home about what was going on or how to see the service. I had to call the funeral home, from California and complain. I shouldn’t have to have to complain to a funeral home during a funeral. I should’ve been viewing my late Grandmothers service in peace. This is extremely inappropriate. They told me to go to Facebook live to catch the rest of it. All 17 of us missed about an hour of the service by the time we connected to Facebook. Many of us were very upset. We nearly missed out on a once and a lifetime event because of you’re poor service. This is unacceptable!!! Second complaint was her appearance. I understand when love ones pass their appearance does change. But my grandmother was unrecognizable!!! It looked like the congelton funeral home made no effort to match her actual appearance. The wig she had on was nothing like her. It made her look a man. One of her children thought she was in the wrong funeral home because she didn’t even recognize her own mother. I sent the Facebook live recording to others and nobody knew who it was until I had to confirm with them. This too was unacceptable! For a home going service for a grandmother who was not only the matriarch of our entire family, but also mother and friend to her neighborhood and everyone else she knew. Everyone who has known my grandmother never had one unkind word to say about her. And she did not deserve this type of departure. Congelaton funeral home! You deserved to be sued! You need to get it together!!

I was very happy with the professionalism of the staff. They paid close attention to every detail. I can't thank them enough. I will use Congleton for all of my family's funeral services.
