This establishment is run by the most horrific employees you could imagine working with. I’m ashamed my family member has to be buried by this funeral home. It is a disgrace to my great grandmother’s long life to have her final moments be handled by this company. My great grandmother will be buried without the majority of people she lived with her entire life. He refused to reschedule her service simply because it was an inconvenience to them and everybody else outside of the immediately family. A cancellation policy was not provided. It is a disgrace to bury a family member against the will of the next-of-kin. This is an abhorrent establishment.

I recently lost my mother which is one of the most difficult times anyone can endure in life. After calling four different funeral homes we decided to go with Galante Funeral Home in Caldwell. Not only were they reasonably priced, they were also kind and considerate to our needs. Within two days of her passing we had the most beautiful mass at St. Raphael's Church in Livingston, then to Gates of Heaven in East Hanover with a 40 car motorcade, where the Livingston Police Department helped us stay together at the Livingston circle. All this in ONE day of preparations, all this with Galante Funeral Home. Steve and staff are the Best!

The last thing you want to deal with is making funeral arrangements when a loved one passes. This was the first time I had to face anything like this and the Galantes were compassionate, informative and provided outstanding service. They gave us the freedom and time to have the right life celebration for my wife. Afterwards my friends and family commented on how well everything went. Alice was a beautiful woman and was concerned about her appearance after battling pancreatic cancer. I told her if she didn't look beautiful I would have the casket closed, Alice looked wonderful so we kept the casket open. Galante asked the right questions and stepped in to handle anything I needed. There was absolutely no pressure to in choosing the appropriate service for my wife. They wrote a tremendous obituary for Alice with just me giving the basics. I hope that if you're reading this that you're handling your loss well. There are probably a lot of arrangements to make and obligations to meet. Galante will take the burden of making all the funeral arrangements off your shoulders, go to them with the confidence that they will help you through this difficult time.
