"Every detail matters." After having many discussions with local, regional and corporate leaders for Ellers, this value of theirs kept coming to the surface. In July, my mother passed and we chose Ellers to handle her final arrangements. After a pleasant planning session with our funeral director, we set our date for the funeral. The funeral was also handled better than expected, with our funeral director making several judgement calls that our family really appreciated. However, there was one big ask that we had as one of my mother's final wishes that was not honored. And, honestly, after all of the good grace that Ellers had earned, it truly ruined all of it. After working with the local leaders at Ellers, they were unable or unwilling to make it right. They got a VERY big detail wrong and nothing they did now could fix it, but we had an expectation that we would leave satisfied. It took meeting with corporate leadership to get there. But, get there we did, eventually. And eventually they offered to go FAR above and beyond. And in the end, that is what matters. Thank you Ellers for making things right for our family.

They were very professional and sympathetic with our family during my mom's passing. Her service was the way I imagined it to be very simple yet beautiful and they an amazing job on dressing her, presenting her , and her makeup. They were available 24/7 through phone or email and surprisingly faster then I thought.

The staff is very helpful and understanding during difficult times. I went to them once again recently when my mother passed. The amount of sincere compassion and patients is amazing. Things they helped us with took a lot a separate phone calls to locate another family members ashes as they wanted to be buried together. It took a few days but they found him and brought in from Indy to Kokomo helping me out so much. I very much appreciate everything they did for me and my family.
