My family has used Cartmell Funeral Home several times over the years. Kathy and her team are kind, compassionate, and make things go as smoothly as possible, during a difficult time. Their facilities are top-notch, and there are so many options to truly make services just what you and/or your loved one wanted. Considerations are made for all involved in the planning process, and the day(s) of the service(s) are some with great care and attention to detail. I recently lost my mom, and Kathy helped me so much throughout. Highly recommend Cartmell-Davis, you will be in good hands!

I have to see that Cartmell funeral home made a very difficult task very easy. I just lost my wife of 23 years and turned to Cartmell to make the arrangements due to previous very positive experiences with them. Mary was exceptional at helping me through the process. She was spot on in every way. She was very helpful ,informative and compassionate. And I must all so must mention Kathi she was extremely helpful as well. I have already told my son this is where I wish to go when my time comes. Their team made the entire experience much easier. This is a top notch Funeral Home.

When my father passed away, my brother and I were both calling around to get prices on different places (his death was unexpected and he had no life insurance). We both happened to call here and the woman gave him attitude saying "you guys already called here!" Then when she gave him prices she upped the prices from what she had told me. She also was extremely rude and made him feel stupid for asking about getting my father cremated but having a closed casket with his cremains in it. She said we'd also still have to pay for embalming since it's a "set price" even though he wasn't having that done. We ended up going to Bartlett's and they were very warm and helpful, they made us not feel alone through the process. **adding on after original review. I am disgusted with Cathy and her behavior. She had the nerve to contact a "friend" of mine, knowing she knows me, and asked her to text me to take my review down. Cathy didn't even have the decency to call me herself or apologize. Shame on her and her whole establishment.
