I called Savinos maybe 3 days before mom passed to get pricing info and they told me their services cost $7,850 for a traditional services. Saturday when mom passed the facility she was at didn’t hold “bodies” they gave us 1 hr to figure it out. I called Savinos & they told me that’s it’s $11,000 upfront or they wouldn’t come at all. That left us scrambling because the max i could put on my charge card was $8,000. I asked if they had any type of payment arrangement that they could work out with us since ALL of my family have been going there for years. I was told no because someone else was in charge now. I told them I would call back when I could figure out the financials because we were short on money and short on time. I was in the middle of making phone calls to make it happen. My mom was my one and only and I would have done anything to respect her last wishes. Savinos called the nursing station and told staff that they would not be able to come out even if I came up with the money because now they were too short staffed. This will no longer be our go to place. They no longer value loyalty. The compassion is gone.

If I could rate them a zero I would. For as long as I can remember all of my family members had services here. My mom passed and when I contacted they would not even extend anything unless they got 11,000.00 upfront.They have no compassion for the grieving family. Would not recommend they are all about the money and do not care about anything else
