My dad passed away May 21st 2024. John was extremely helpful and made all the arrangements for me to fly my dads remains back to South Korea. This was a very hard time for me and my family and honestly John the funeral director made everything very easy. My dad looked great at the services and everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this funeral home. They worked with our budget and there was no crazy upsell like I remember when my grandpa and grandma died in Michigan 20 plus years ago. The staff at California Mortuary helped me and my family mitigate the pain of losing my dad, one of the hardest life changing events we have experienced. Anne promptly responded to my emails regarding the options and services that California Mortuary offers. John assisted us personally when my brother and I visited the Mortuary after deciding on arrangements for my dad. Gil picked up my dad the night he passed and he thoroughly explained everything he was going to do, putting us at ease and making it a little less painful seeing my dad go.
