This is long overdue. I don’t really know where to begin. My sweet father passed away suddenly in an accident. My family and I were in such agony, we didn’t really know where to begin. When the hospital asked what funeral home we wanted to use, and they gave us the recommendations, for some reason we felt led to go with Cagle. I now know why. I think they were truly sent to us as a blessing. As I said, it was an accident and we were in such mourning we were not always on our game. Kenny was great meeting us at the hospital and gently letting us know what first steps we needed to take. Kaylea Cagle Petty never once made us feel rushed. She is truly an angel on earth. It took us longer than most, I’m sure, to set service details, finalize our hour long slideshow, set the obituary etc. - Cagle only showed love, understanding and patience. The night before my daddy’s celebration of life we wanted to put some personal items in the visitation area to better show people who he was-what he loved. I meant to grab just a few items with my sisters that turned into a carload- front and backseat were filled. I thought there’s no way they’re gonna let us drag all this in here and then us set up. When I went inside and approached Kaylea I said “we brought some things of my daddy’s” and she was EXCITED-not upset that it was last minute-she was excited to make it special for us. After they helped us unload everything out of the car we told them we would set it up real quick. She told us to please leave it and let her do it. I was weary because they were my daddy’s things but I knew it would be a lot to set up and would be very emotional for us. So I left it in the hands of Kaylea. She must have been up all night setting up his belongings. When we walked into the funeral home, beautiful doesn’t do it justice. She had done the perfect job, better than anything I could’ve done or imagined. This is the hardest thing my family has ever been through and I am so grateful and thankful Cagle Funeral Home was there to see us through it. They continue to help us with any questions we’ve have too. Kaylea did not miss her calling, a true angel.

Kenny and Shane and Kaylea are the best. They took such great care of me and my family as we layed my brother to rest. I highly recommend cagle funeral home. They are kind and compassionate.

everyone here is super friendly and so compassionate. my dad passed suddenly and they were such amazing help and very understanding with all my questions seeing as i’ve never had to deal with losing someone so close. even after his funeral they were still willing to walk me through everything and i love the fact that they formed a connection with me and my family. they knew us by name and spoke with us as friends. i highly recommend using this home to help lay your loved ones to rest, they will do everything in their power for you.
