I wanted to take a moment to say, thank you to Catherine and her staff. When my father passed away at my home, we needed to pick a local funeral home quite quickly, even though he was going to be buried back “home” in New Jersey. My parents moved here 3 years ago to live with me and my husband as we wanted to be able to care for them as they were in their upper 80s at the time. Although my husband and I have lived in the Red Lion area for over 20 years we were not familiar with any of the funeral homes. So when I had to pick a funeral home I asked my husband to find the funeral home with the best reviews. He chose you, and I now understand why your reviews are so good. Even though arrangements were being done out of state, you were going to handle the embalming and coordinating with the funeral home in NJ. on our behalf for some of the details. When we arrived in NJ on the day of my Dads viewing and we saw him I was so impressed by how well he looked. My father was a beautiful person, and very handsome, even at 91 years old. Yet, I did not expect him to look so good. I’ve seen many other family members and countless others throughout the years, and I honestly can say that he looked beautiful. From the moment we chose you, you came to our home to meet us, even though you didn’t have to. The gentlemen who handled moving my father were extremely professional, well dressed and kind. And, I understand that it was you, Catherine who performed the embalming on my Dad. Thank you for doing such a nice job- I know my Dad would have loved to know that he had such a beautiful, caring woman taking care of his body for the last time. You communicated with us throughout the entire process and, made such a horrible loss so much easier for us. Thanks again, Maria Young

Katherine and Nathan were so amazing when my dad suddenly surrendered to his battle with cancer. The compassion and care that they put into his funeral was amazing. Katherine was especially warm, kind and comforting. She handled every detail, and gave us the space to appropriately grieve our loss and remember a great man. No one likes to talk about death but it’s something that has to happen, and I’d trust Wagner-Elfner and Burg to care and honor myself or any of my loved ones when the time comes. In the last few weeks I found myself in need of assistance from a funeral home. In fact, I had about 48 hours to put something in place.
