I was recommended to Brooklyn Funeral Home from a member of my mom's church for my dad's funeral services. I have to say from the very beginning working with Lori to the end working with the other staff was an exceptional experience. My dad (Robert Sutton) looked very nice and like himself and they even gave him the veteran honor he deserved ( no thanks to the Military). Lori was a blessing to work with and really took a lot of stress off of me and my mom with planning. The funeral director and limo drivers on the day of the service were very professional and nice. 0/10. Do not recommend. They did not call me even once after I went in to set up the arrangements for my dad. I had to call every day to find out when they were picking up my dad from the hospital. Their communication was terrible, and the place had an odor. One day, someone would be in, and the next day they wouldn’t, so I had to call again and again. They informed us of the service details at the last minute. The white, large man was racist and unprofessional. They forgot to give me my dad's locs with his ashes, and we had to go pick them up again. They charge for everything and do not accommodate the family. They also put the wrong amount on the papers for HRA, so everything had to be redone. It was a terrible experience. I will never use their service again—they made everything harder, especially while we were grieving.

Terrible people, terrible service. Please do not trust in them for your funeral services. They are scammers, and couldn’t care less about anything but money.
