Our experience with Bowen and Parker Bros. could not have been better and the way Mike coordinated the various events, thinking of the smallest details and assisting every step of the way was commendable. There were no pressure tactics and what appeared at first to be a more expensive package when compared to a competitor in the area, turned out not to be so when you actually sit and discuss details with each party. We ended up having a private wake at their beautiful Latham venue (1 event at a time, the whole venue at your disposal so you can set the atmosphere to your liking without worrying about other events occurring in adjacent rooms), a beautiful ceremony at a nearby church, and a small but emotional closing ceremony at the mausoleum of Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery. All in all an outstanding value for the cost and a series of events executed with the utmost professionalism and taste. We cannot thank Mike enough and would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone finding themselves with the responsibility of organizing the send-off of a love one.

Bowen & Parker Funeral Home provided an outstanding service. 5 Stars is not enough. SPECIAL THANKS TO FRANK. Frank was extra helpful in a very difficult time. Even with COVID limitations of only 10 people at the service in April 2020, Frank was flexible with allowing us to celebrate my father with his friends driving by through the cul-de-sac to pay their respect, which was really wonderful. The process of picking up the body was fast from the time they were called, and it was done with respect for my father, and us. EVERYTHING was done with the upmost respect. From helping us with the process and procedures to answer questions even off hours. For anyone who is dealing with the loss of a loved one, their funeral service I would strongly recommend. Even that this is a business, we did not feel like just another customer through the door. THANK YOU for your help in a time of a BIG loss.

My family couldn"t have been more grateful for the care that was given to my son Jonah. All of his last wishes regarding his services were executed as I had requested. My son looked amazing. Our funeral director was knowledgeable and compassionate. He walked us through the process and it was a great help; my son was chronically ill and did not have life insurance. It is extremely hard when a loved one dies. Thanks to the services provided, I was able to arrange my son's service with ease. Mike even took the time to make sure the extra things were done. He arranged for the Doctor Who Tardis to be on the prayer cards and stayed with our personal barber while he did my son's hair and beard. Everything I asked for was done. Thanks to the staff at this funeral home his celebration of life was perfect.
