This business doesn't deserve any rating from my experience with it, but in order to write a review something had to be clicked....I chose the lowest because of the lowest customer service i believe that was provided. I just became aware that I could rate it after all these years. Back in 2003 Blair funeral home was contacted by a cousin about arrangements....my aunt would not be pleased if she were alive to hear this story, but God sees and knows everything....so to make a long horrifying story short, I met with Mr Wayne Blair at his business in Edenton, NC with my brother, however, and,what was ordered(casket) and what Blair delivered on the day of funeral was shocking and not what I had picked out to bury auntie in. He neglected to inform me that he made a change or that he made a switch without my authorization(I was executrix of my aunt's estate just for reference sake). I feel that my brother and cousin knew about the deception, though....sad family dynamics. The cousin, of Gates, NC is friends with Mr. Blair. I saw them talking while standing under my deceased aunt's carport on one occasion after funeral. I filed a complaint with the board to start a paper trail as directed by my attorney. Oddly everything looked to be in order at the wake,no questions...but day of funeral I was in shock of the changes he had made without my authorization. Some things did not go right with my experience with this service offered by Blair Funeral Home. I will not use Blair Funeral business again nor do I trust his manner of handling my affairs with my aunt's funeral arrangements because of this experience not trust his integrity and do not and will not recommend him....he is unprofessional. I hope by now he has cleaned up his act...I don't trust him nor my cousin nor my brother ever again to handle any family matters of mine. Forgive and moving on, but no trust here. Choose Blair funeral business at your risk.
