Benton and Glunt took care of my grandmother, my dad & mother, and recently my brother and cousin. We have always been happy with them. They have come to the church to greet the guest and take care of our needs or questions. So grateful to them.

Evidently Benton-Glunt and Tapp funeral home are run by the same incompetent woman. My mother and I met with Melanie two days before my father passed. I asked her if she could put some of his cremated remains aside for myself and my sisters. She said absolutely and gave me an urn catalogue. After he was buried, my sister went to the funeral home to collect the ashes and was told they buried all the ashes because my mother hadn’t mentioned it a second time the day her husband passed. When I confronted Melanie about the issue, she blamed my mother for not confirming the initial request. Her exact words to me were “absolutely we will do that”. My mother and I were under the impression that meant the funeral home would take care of it. We are very disappointed at the level of incompetence and lack of accountability. If you choose to use Benton-Glunt or Tapp funeral home, you must make your wishes known to each employee as they cannot be trusted individually to honor your wishes.

Benton-Glunt served our family several times in the past few years. They are very professional and helpful in your time of grief.
