Rev Carter and his staff took care of my brother in law, my uncle, and my mother and all were very good. Rev Carter worked with us and nearly gave us our mothers funeral free “almost” and he was very patient and understanding. A trusted name.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. My stepdad passed away in December 2020, therefore my family had this funeral home to handle all of his preparations. In the beginning, the staff seemed to be professional and very helpful. Fast forward to April 2021, my family is STILL waiting on a death certificate (4 months later), and have been given the runaround for the past 2 months as to why it is taking so long for them to produce a certificate for a CO-VID RELATED DEATH! Both the secretary and Victor Carter have lied to my mother repeatedly as to why they claim they haven’t received a death certificate. They’ve gone so far as to blame the doctors at the hospital still needing to sign off on it, as well as claiming Bienville Parish has the death certificate in their possession , which they deny because we’ve called to confirm. Bienville also informed us that Victor Carter didn’t sign off on the death certificate until LAST MONTH! There has obviously been something suspicious surrounding the hold up & we’ve yet to receive clear information on EXACTLY went wrong but it’s obvious they’re hiding something. I would NOT recommend anyone to use this funeral home!!

Some of the kindest people I have ever met. They handled my mom beautifully and really helped us through the whole process with sensitivity. I would highly recommend them in your time off need and grief. Their focus is on the family, not trying to get all the money they can. They offered options and never once pushed me to buy any of them. Only place I will use if I find myself needing these services.
