Mitch and the team at Banks and Beals provided above & beyond service for us when my dad passed away. Their level of care and detail, combined with being understanding and compassionate, made what was a very sad and difficult time a little easier.

We traveled two hours to attend a wake here. We brought a gift of wind chimes with us that several people in attendance had helped pay for. Upon arriving, there was no funeral director to be found. We had to call the office to get someone to assist us. An older man came out and said we interrupted his dinner. I handed off the wind chimes to the older man and asked if he could hang them for us. He (rudely) told me that he couldn’t get to the front of the room to do so. (It was not that busy as I had already made my way to the front of the room looking for someone who worked there.) An hour later, I noticed the wind chime discarded on a chair still in their box. Once again, I approached the man and asked for them to be hung. He said he “would need to go look for a stand,” I said “I would appreciate that.“ He got even more rude with me and asked me if “I wanted to hang them myself?!?” I said I would be happy to if he provided me a stand. He then said, “look, they will get hung up at some point” and turned his back to me. I have never been to a more poorly-run funeral home that lacked in compassion in my life. I can tell you now, the funeral homes in my town are run with empathy and class. I was appalled at how Banks & Beals was run. I hope we never have to return here.

These guys are very professional and honest people they actually helped our family grieve and never question this establishment to all the people of banks and Beals thank you for everything. You guys are a class act
