The staff at Baldwin Fairchild was absolutely perfect. They attended to all needs before we had them. Friendly, empathetic, and professional. The teamwork was outstanding. Elizabeth Martinez Siqueiros was very professional and understanding. She showed genuine compassion for our desires. At no time did we feel pressured. She took the time to answer all of our questions and we feel comfortable knowing that Baldwin Fairchild will be taking care of our needs when the time comes

I apologize for the long review but there are not enough words to express our feelings about our experience. 1. Long wait for initial pick up after my aunt passed away. 2. No return phone call within time frame as promised by the person who picked her up, finally received a call after I called another 4 times. 3. Once meeting was scheduled we were “assigned” a director who did not seem very concerned or knowledgeable. He made inappropriate comments when we asked to speak with a supervisor, he told us one was not available as they manager many locations. He proceeded to throw the pick up driver under the bus by saying he gave us the wrong information and then said it was above his pay grade when we suggested it would be good practice to receive a phone call within an hour of your loved one being taken away. Even if that’s not possible or the corporation’s policy the answer he gave was unacceptable. 4. Lack of communication and long response time from the director, he instructed us to use his email as best way to reach him but to no avail. 5. We chose the Apopka location for convenience but that was a huge mistake as there is nobody manning the office or answering the phone on a regular basis so we had to deal with a call center which questions you to death just to leave a message, EXTREMELY frustrating situation when you are dealing with a loss to have to jump through hoops each time you needed to contact them. 6. We were passed from our original director to another one for the day of service, she was marginally better and tried hard to be very helpful but the staff that was with her were unprofessional and had a lack of experience. 7. It seems as the phone call to the SS office, as required, was not made and once again, when my uncle called to speak to someone he had to jump through those same old hoops just to leave a message. We will not hold our breath for the return call. Unfortunately, our overall experience was more than disappointing and disheartening. There is only ONE opportunity to do it right for a funeral and Baldwin missed the mark by a long shot. If no star could be given that’s what they deserve. We do not recommend them whatsoever and will not waste any more time on this after this review. I for one will be taking my pre-planning elsewhere. Answer to Gen Mgr response - Mr. Rychlock would be willing to meet with someone who can resolve problems and not just offer an apology. He feels the concerns we have cannot be changed or resolved at a general manager level.
