Predatory. Taking advantage of the fact that we're unfamiliar with this process & vulnerable from the profound heartbreak of our mother dying, they began by neglecting to disclose they don't have refrigeration. I made arrangements with Sheila, who was very nice. About 90 minutes later a coroner called to inform me they were going to pick my mother up & take her to a morgue over an hour away at over 8 times the cost the funeral home quoted. Also, if we didn't pay he would have my mother cremated, take possession of her remains, & have them buried at a location of his choice. I immediately called the funeral home & asked for Sheila. The man who answered...without even asking my name...said "she doesn't want to talk to you. She's my wife & you can direct your questions to me ". I explained the call I got & asked what was going on & why I wasn't told about any of it before this happened. With the confidence of a man running the only game in town, he actually said it's all a "money game". But they're not the only game in town . I reached out to Cox-Knapp, who I'm about to leave a much deserved positive review for & who I highly recommend.

Wonderful! Kind, considerate, took care of so many details and helped us through our own decisions. Very patient and over the top competent so we knew there were things that Baiers would take care of that we did not even need to worry about.
