My mother in law passed away a couple weeks ago and my husband and I were charged with the daunting task of planning her funeral. There's more than you think that goes into planning a funeral but thankfully we had Anna Williams. She made everything so much easier. She has a peaceful presence about her that really helps ground you. She helped us every step of the way. She was absolutely amazing. I even had people that attended the service tell me how impressed they were with the service and with Anna. My parents even hope Anna is still working there the day they will unfortunately require her services, hopefully many years from now. She took care of every little detail with/ for us and has even called to check on us a couple times since the funeral. Thank you Anna for really being there for us when we needed you. You truly did take a tragic moment and make it so much easier for us. Thank you.

From the beginning of gathering information for a possible funeral to having the actual event, Altmeyer Funeral Home couldn’t have provided us with a more personalized and caring environment. At such a difficult time the decisions were made clear and very meaningful. We had our reception there after my mother’s funeral and being able to stay in the same location was perfect. It was so nice to know your family was the only ones that would be there to grieve and celebrate with each other.

I cannot give enough love to Mrs. Anna at Chesapeake location. She is truly an Angel put in her position by God himself. The process was simple, efficient, informative and respectful. If I lose another loved whom I am appointed to serve, I will most definitely bring them to Altmeyer in Chesapeake.
