The staff at AFH made everything go very smoothly for my brother's funeral. Mason's experience caused him to guide me through unexpected details. The staff assured me that all would be fine even when I panicked over details that I thought might be overlooked, but they were not...all was in order. It is overwhelming to lose someone and this staff was very comforting through every detail. And, I must give very high praises for the facility. Very well kept up, and very clean.

A friend of my husband recommended this funeral home , when my mother died, since they had not answered us, from another funeral home, I remembered this one and my sister Angela, contacted Mr. Mason by phone, then we went in person my son and I, to settle the agreement, I was impressed by how beautiful, clean and spacious the place is, it was a pleasure to speak with Mr. Mason, very polite, compassionate and deals with the economic possibilities of the client. When the day of the funeral arrived, he and his staff gave us all the help we needed to carry out everything prepared for that moment. The staff at Agawam Funeral Home went above and beyond to provide the type of burial my father deserved. From removing my father's body from our home to the final services at the cemetery everything was done with care, considering our feelings first and foremost. The staff were compassionate, professional & caring. Those in attendance commented on how beautiful the services were. It is difficult to put into words what it is like to bury a loved one and how important it is to have people that consider those feelings. They did not take advantage of us at our time of sorrow, in fact it was just the opposite. Their cost were very reasonable and they did not try to sell us anything we didn't need or request.
